Alec Burks’ stint with the Golden State Warriors was better than most people expected, myself included. His stint with the Warriors was also shorter than most people expected, myself included.
Burks was thrust into a large role with the Dubs, and he played quite well — arguably the best basketball of his career. And then, with the Warriors not going anywhere, he was shipped off to the Philadelphia 76ers, where he’ll get a chance to play in the playoffs in the NBA bubble at the Disney Resort in Orlando.
We’ve got a new podcast series for the offseason, where I spend 10-15 minutes reviewing every player on the roster. The season feels like years ago, and I think most of us have forgotten what transpired during the year. So this is a chance to review it — the highs, the lows, and where the player goes from here.
You can listen to the Burks review below, or on iTunes, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever you get your podcasts.
