Podcast review: Steph Curry

It was a rough year for the face of the Warriors franchise, but there are plenty of reasons to think he’ll bounce back.

The 2019-20 NBA season did not go as planned for Steph Curry, and as a result, it did not go as planned for the Golden State Warriors.

Curry was injured in just the fourth game of the year, suffering a broken hand that would sideline him for more than four months. Once he returned, he played just one game before the season was suspended — and the Warriors season eventually cancelled — due to the coronavirus pandemic.

We didn’t get much of a chance to see how he played next to D’Angelo Russell, and we never will. We didn’t get much of a chance to see how he played next to Andrew Wiggins, though we’ll get to see that soon enough (presumably).

It will be a pivotal 2020-21 season for the two-time MVP, who has just two years left on his supermax contract.

All of that is the focus of my latest podcast player review, which you can listen to below or on iTunes, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
