The day is finally here! After five months of guessing, we will find out where the Golden State Warriors will pick at the 2020 NBA Draft. We know that the Dubs will be picking in the top five, but it remains to be seen where the selection lands.
Golden State, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves are tied for the best odds to win the lottery, with each team having a 14% chance at getting the top pick. Here are the complete odds:

The Warriors have a 52.1% at selecting in the top four, and could net the No. 1 selection for the first time since 1995, when the Dubs took Maryland forward Joe Smith. Unlike most years, there is no consensus top pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. Anthony Edwards, James Wiseman, LaMelo Ball, Deni Avdija, and Onyeka Okongwu are some of the names being mentioned as potential No. 1 picks, but expect some surprises at the top of the draft board on Oct. 16.
This is the first time Golden State is in the lottery since the NBA implemented its new system. The Warriors have been in the running for the top pick 16 times in the past 25 years, and stayed put 10 times, fell back in the lottery on five occasions, and moved up four spots to get Smith in 1995.
The Dubs hope Stephen Curry will be their lucky charm when he represents the team at the virtual event. ESPN’s Rachel Nichols will have an exclusive one-on-one interview with Steph during the live broadcast.
