The Golden State Warriors suffered a rough loss on Tuesday night against the Indiana Pacers. And while they were healthier than Indiana, which was without Victor Oladipo, T.J. Warren, and T.J. McConnell, it was clear that Golden State was missing the presence of Eric Paschall.
Paschall was a late scratch after being placed on the league’s health and safety protocol, which is reserved for players who have either tested positive for the coronavirus, or potentially been in contact with someone who has. In Paschall’s case, it was apparently a positive test. However, it proved to be a false positive, and Paschall is back with the team after quarantining and testing negative. He will travel with the team for Thursday’s game against the Denver Nuggets.
The Warriors announce Eric Paschall practiced with the team today and will be on the upcoming roadtrip. Paschall entered the health and safety protocols yesterday. Looks like a quick resolution.

It’s a huge win for the Warriors to get Paschall back so quickly, especially as they embark on a brutal three-game road trip against the Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Lakers. Paschall has been sensational since moving into a role as a small ball center off the bench, and the second unit has been thriving.
But against the Pacers, Golden State’s second unit struggled to score, and it was reasonable to expect that to continue for as long as Paschall was out.
Of course, it’s the off the court situation that is the biggest win. Having Paschall back certainly helps the team, but knowing that he didn’t test positive for the coronavirus is definitely the important news.
