It was an ugly home-opener for the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs were blown out 123-98 by the Portland Trail Blazers, but have a chance to avenge the loss when the two teams play their second of back-to-back games at the Chase Center.

Draymond Green made his 2020-21 season debut in Friday’s loss and finished with no points, four assists and four rebounds in 18 minutes. Stephen Curry led the Dubs with 26 points while rookie James Wiseman chipped in with eight points and five rebounds.

Portland’s dynamic duo of Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum dominated Golden State last time out, combining for 62 points. The Trail Blazers shot the ball extremely well, going 20of-43 from the 3-point line.

Head coach Steve Kerr was critical of his team’s defense following Friday’s loss. The Warriors have been blown out in all of their defeats this season.
