The Sea Dubs will play three preseason games, brought to you by Kaiser Permanente. Santa Cruz will play host to the Mexico City Capitanes on October 29th and October 30th at Kaiser Permanente Arena. Then they’ll play the NBA G League Ignite November 3rd at Chase Center.
Fans will be in attendance for the two Mexico City exhibitions, with tip-off for both games starting at 7 PM PT. You can find tickets on sale now, with some as low as ten bucks. These will be the home games for the Sea Dubs since February 2020!
The game versus G League Ignite will have a 1:30 PM tip-off and be closed to the public.
Santa Cruz has served the Warriors organization well, with three recent names linked with the Dubs getting extensive time with their a developmental affiliate:
Juan Toscano-Anderson, Jordan Poole, and Nico Mannion all had formative playing time with the Sea Dubs that is paying dividends. Oakland native JTA signed a multi-year NBA contract with Golden State after working his way up from the G League. Poole’s breakout sophomore year came after he got some reps in Santa Cruz, averaging 22.4 PPG in 11 games there this season.
