The Golden State Warriors were well-represented on the NBA’s 75th Anniversary Team, which aimed to label the top 75 players in NBA history (though they settled on 76, due to a tie on the ballots).
There were a fair number of Warriors on the list, including the ultra obvious: Steph Curry, Wilt Chamberlain, Kevin Durant, and Rick Barry. But there were also two notable omissions: Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.
Steve Kerr — one of the 88 voters on the list — and Thompson quickly spoke up on the absences, leaving no doubt as to how they felt:

Shortly afterwards, Green gave his thoughts on the matter, making it clear that he felt his running mate was unfairly snubbed.
Draymond Green asked if he's bothered by he and Klay being left off the top 75: "I'm more frustrated for Klay than I am for myself. There's not many people can do what Klay does with the basketball."

There’s no shame being left off the list, which featured 76 phenomenal players. But given how well Green and Thompson have balanced individual success with team success, there’s a reason many fans are clamoring to have them on the list in place of contemporaries Damian Lillard and Anthony Davis, or over some of the older players from arguably lesser eras.
