Warriors' Green suffers 'nasty' injury in the win over Timberwolves

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green left Wednesday's 123-110 victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a right-thigh contusion and did not come back. Draymond Green sustained an injury on a shot attempt at the rim with 6:45 left in the 3rd quarter.

Draymond Green, who was fouled on the play, recorded his free throws before limping down the court on defense. When GSW got back possession, they called timeout, and Draymond Green headed to the dressing room. He had 7 points, six assists with 5 rebounds in just 21 minutes.

Coach Steve Kerr, who loved online casino, called the incident "nasty," and said Draymond Green was questionable for Golden State Warriors encounter against the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.

Green came into Wednesday averaging 7.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 7.3 assists for GSW, who became the first 10-win team on Wednesday in the NBA. Andrew Wiggins recorded 35 points to lead GSW, and Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with over 48 points.

The status of GSWs star Green is in question for their match Friday against the Bulls after he made an early departure on Wednesday against the Timberwolves.

Kerr said, "He got a quad contusion that was pretty nasty, he’s got some ice on it now. For now, just call him questionable for Friday."

Green looked to tweak his foot while going up for an offensive rebound and put back before exiting the match. Despite worries about his knee, the GSW confirmed the extent of the problem was a terrible bruise on his upper foot.

Whether Green returns for Friday’s game against the Bulls is still in question, according to Kerr.

Green was getting treated and unavailable to make remarks after the match on Wednesday.

After losing to the Timberwolves 123-108 at the Chase Center in midweek, the GSW have won all but one of their matches so far during this home stand, bringing the team to a league-best record of 10-1.

In the first 3 quarters against the wolves, the GSW once again showed only how hot they can be offensive, while also playing strongly in defense. Then in the latter part of the third and into the fourth quarter, the GSW started losing steam, despite the odds from machine a sous en ligne backing them.

They were not hitting the shots they were getting earlier on, and they got sloppier on the court with the ball.

Andrew Wiggins was the player of the day for GSW, finishing with a 35 point season-high and showing a side of him that had yet to be seen this campaign. He started the night on Wednesday hot and closed the encounter out as began: hitting big shots for the team.

When asked during the post-game press conference which of the dunks he liked best, he said: "Man, I don't know. I liked them both, they were both on KAT."

Although Anthony Edwards had the best night on Wednesday with 48 points, the Wolves still lost to the.

A mood dampener on Wednesday night was when Green exited the contest after 21 minutes due to injury problems. But the GSWs comfortably got the victory without him.

The Canadian was questioned how he felt playing against his former colleagues, and if it was a revenge contest for him. He said:

"No, not a revenge game. It was a well-played game against a former team. A fun game. That's all it was."
