Perhaps you’re still riding the high of the Golden State Warriors 114-91 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday night. Perhaps you don’t want to wait until Thursday to watch more Warriors basketball.

Perhaps you don’t even want to wait until tonight to watch more non-Warriors basketball.

Well, have I got the perfect thing for you: breakfast basketball. Warriors breakfast basketball, no less.

The G League season gets underway today in a bubble in Florida today. And the Santa Cruz Warriors are playing at 8 a.m. PT against the team getting all the G League chatter: The G League Ignite, a Walnut Creek team that’s not affiliated with any NBA squad, but has a number of high profile prospects who are opting for a year in the G League instead of college.

But while the average basketball fan may be more interested in the Ignite, Dub Nation should find the Warriors team pretty interesting. Jordan Poole and Nico Mannion are on the team, as is Jeremy Lin. Alen Smailagić is there as well, though it’s unclear if he’s healthy enough to be playing just yet.

Poole will certainly be back in Golden State later this year, and Mannion probably will be too. They both factor into the Warriors’ long-term plans, so watching their development is important and fun.

Plus, it’s basketball with breakfast. What more could you possibly want?
