The Golden State Warriors were all set to take the court against the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday night, and then the last thing they wanted happened: Steph Curry didn’t join them.
Mere moments before the two teams tipped off, Curry was seen leaving the huddle and walking to the locker room with trainer Rick Celebrini. While it initially looked like Curry was favoring his right leg, the Warriors quickly announced that he was not playing due to the fact that he wasn’t feeling well.
Stephen Curry is not feeling well and will not play in tonight’s game.

The fact that the game went on suggests that Curry is truly not feeling well, rather than anything related to the coronavirus. And that is obviously a win for everyone.
The Dubs have Sunday and Monday off before returning to action on Tuesday against the New York Knicks, so hopefully that’s plenty of time for the two-time MVP to start feeling better. Any prolonged absence from their superstar could cause serious damage to the season.
Rest up, Steph.
