The Golden State Warriors are back home after their eastern road trip to host the Charlotte Hornets. The Dubs are coming off a 111-107 win over the Indiana Pacers, which brought their record to 2-2 on the trip.

Golden State’s defense has been noticeably better over the past month. The Warriors are tied for the second-lowest opponents’ field goal percentage and fourth in defensive rating. Even without big men James Wiseman and Kevon Looney, the interior of the defense has held up nicely. The Dubs only surrender 44.1 points per game in the paint, the fifth-fewest in the NBA.

This is the second meeting between the two teams in less than a week. Without Stephen Curry, Golden State was in position to get the victory in Charlotte until a wild ending cost the Dubs a victory.

Draymond Green had an outburst towards the refs for a questionable call in the game’s final seconds. He was given two technicals and was ejected from the contest. Hornets guard Terry Rozier hit both free throws to tie and then hit a tough jumper at the buzzer to give Charlotte the win.

The Warriors are fully loaded for this one with Curry, Wiseman and Looney in the lineup and should have revenge on their mind.
