Warriors vs. Lakers: Game thread

The Dubs are looking for their second win of the season over the defending NBA champions.

The Golden State Warriors open up their three-game Pacific Division road trip with a matchup against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Dubs have won their last three games and are coming off a 130-121 win over the Charlotte Hornets and are are going for their first four-game winning streak of the season. Golden State has become one of the best defensive teams in the league after a rough start to the season.

Los Angeles has struggled without All-Star big man Anthony Davis in the lineup. The Lakers are 2-5 over their last seven games and are sitting third in the Western Conference, four games up on the Warriors.

This will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Dubs came back and beat L.A. 115-113 in a thrilling affair on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
