The Golden State Warriors won’t have any of their four centers when they face the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday night, as Kevon Looney (ankle sprain), James Wiseman (wrist sprain), Marquese Chriss (leg fracture), and Alen Smailagić (meniscus tear) are all sidelined.
And now they’re without one of their small ball 5s too, as Eric Paschall has been ruled out for the game due to a sore right knee. An MRI came back clean, but Paschall is dealing with some swelling.
Kerr said Paschall woke up with the sore right knee. An MRI looked “fine”but Paschall is swollen and in pain.

With Paschall and the four other bigs out, Draymond Green becomes the only player on the Warriors roster with any experience at the center position. That means we’re likely to see center minutes from Juan Toscano-Anderson, and perhaps Kent Bazemore. The Mavs can certainly gain a massive height advantage should they choose, as they employ two of the three tallest players in the NBA.
Should be interesting. Let’s see how it goes.
