The Golden State Warriors had one of their best performances of the season when they beat the Dallas Mavericks 147-116 on Thursday.
The Dubs will go for a two-game sweep of the Mavs on Saturday in a nationally televised game on ABC.
In this episode of the Collaborative Warriors podcast, I am joined by ESPN’s Cassidy Hubbarth, who is one of the best in the business.
Cassidy is the host of HoopStreams PRIMETIME, ESPN’s digital NBA pre-game show. It streams on ESPN’s Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and the ESPN App 30 minutes before tipoff. You can catch her on all of those platforms before Saturday’s Warriors-Mavs contest.
We discuss Golden State’s blowout win over Dallas and why Kelly Oubre Jr. was able to explode for 40 points. Then Cassidy and I share our thoughts on what makes Stephen Curry so tremendous and his impact on the NBA.
The Dubs have been up-and-down to start the season, but how would they be doing if Klay Thompson didn’t get hurt? Cassidy lets us know how the Warriors would stack up against the Los Angeles Lakers and L.A. Clippers if Thompson were in the lineup.
Cassidy also talks about what it has been like covering the league during a pandemic.
To wrap things up, I ask Cassidy which players she would put in her top five, and we get her thoughts on Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
