Along with being one of the 10 starters for the 2021 NBA All-Star game, Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry will also participate in the 3-point contest.

This will be the seventh time Curry will take part in the event. He won the 3-point contest during the 2014-15 season. The same year when he was named NBA MVP and helped the Dubs win the NBA championship.
The 32-year-old has been sensational this season averaging 29.5 points, 6.4 assists and 5.4 rebounds. Curry is shooting 41.3 percent from beyond the arc, two percent less than his career average.
His 2,659 made 3-pointers in second in league history, behind only Ray Allen. Curry trails Allen by 414 made 3-balls, a number he should be able to eclipse within by the end of next season.
This year’s All-Star game takes place on Sunday in Atlanta. Due to the pandemic, the NBA will hold the 3-point contest, dunk contest and All-Star game on the same day.
