The Golden State Warriors are in the thick of the Western Conference playoff race going into the season's stretch drive. The Dubs will be without Stephen Curry for at least their next two games as their superstar guard recovers from a tailbone contusion.

If general manager Bob Myers wants to make any last-minute changes to the roster, his final opportunity to make a trade is now. The NBA’s trade deadline is set for 12 p.m. PT Thursday, and the Warriors do have some assets they could move.

Kelly Oubre Jr. is at the top of the list. Myers acquired the 25-year-old soon after finding out All-Star Klay Thompson hurt his Achilles and would be out for the season. Golden State sent a top-20-protected 2021 first-round selection to the Oklahoma City Thunder to acquire Oubre, who is averaging 15.1 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season.

Myers could get a future asset for Oubre or choose to hang on to him as the Dubs try and climb into a playoff spot.

The other big trade chip the Warriors hold is the Minnesota Timberwolves’ top-three-protected 2021 first-round pick, which becomes unprotected in 2022. The Timberwolves stink this season and will most likely end up with a top-five selection. Myers could look to move the piece for a proven veteran or hang on to it and see what transpires in the offseason.

We could see several big-name players moved ahead of the deadline as the title-contending teams try and load up for a deep playoff run.
