The Golden State Warriors’ quest for a playoff spot continues when they host the Denver Nuggets. The Dubs are coming off an easy win over the Houston Rockets, but the victory came at a cost.

Rookie James Wiseman tore his meniscus on Saturday and will likely miss the rest of the season. The No. 2 overall pick averaged averaging 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per game.

Golden State is hanging on to the Western Conference’s final play-in position and holds a one-game lead over the New Orleans Pelicans. The Warriors are also just two games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the No. 8 seed.

The Nuggets had won eight in a row prior to losing at home to the Boston Celtics on Sunday. Denver is fourth in the conference.

This will be the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Dubs lost a 114-104 decision to the Nuggets on Jan. 14.
