The Golden State Warriors will try and complete a perfect three-game homestand when they take on the Dallas Mavericks. The Dubs are coming off a scrappy victory over the Sacramento Kings and have won seven of their last nine games.

Tonight’s matchup is the biggest game of the season for the Warriors. They have firmly entrenched themselves in the postseason picture with their recent run but now have the opportunity to climb up the standings.

Golden State trails Dallas by 2.5 games for the sixth seed in the Western Conference. Following this game, the Dubs’ schedule eases up for the next two weeks, and that will give them a golden opportunity to try and guarantee themselves at least one seven-game playoff series.

The Mavericks are coming off a loss to the Kings on Monday in Sacramento and should be hungry to get back into the win column.
