The Golden State Warriors kick off their final road trip of the season with a matchup against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Dubs are trying to bounce back from an ugly loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday that put a big dent in their hopes of trying to climb up to the No. 6 seed in the Western Conference. The Warriors came out cold and failed to score a point over the final 8:40 of the first quarter and trailed 36-12 after one.

The Dubs got some good news and bad news on the injury front. Veteran Kent Bazemore is expected to be back in the lineup after miss the previous three games due to the league’s health and safety protocols. But forward Kelly Oubre Jr is listed as doubtful due to a sore left wrist.

Golden State has a favorable schedule over the next six games and could try and get into either the Nos. 7-or-8 seed with a strong finish to the season.

Minnesota sits 14th in the standings but has won three in a row going into this one, including back-to-back victories against the NBA-leading Utah Jazz.

This will be the third meeting of the season between the two teams. The Dubs swept a two-game set against the Timberwolves in late January.
