Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NBA. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Golden State Warriors fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.
I’m going to be completely transparent with you. At the start of the 2020-21 NBA season, I partook in an SB Nation roundtable where we all shared our predictions. Some of my predictions looked decent, such as when I picked LaMelo Ball to win Rookie of the Year.
Others — most, if we’re being honest — looked pretty bad. But none looked worse than my answer to the question, “Which team will finish with the lowest winning percentage?”
My answer was the New York Knicks, who instead of finishing 30th in win percentage finished 11th.
Why do you listen to me again? Oh, wait, you don’t? Makes sense. Can’t blame you.
Anyway, it should be no surprise that after exceeding expectations, the Knicks are players in award season. According to the latest SB Nation Reacts — which you should sign up for, it’s quite fun — Julius Randle should win Most Improved player, with nearly 70% of surveyed fans picking him. I don’t disagree with that, but can we get a little love for Jordan Poole?

Dub Nation might want a Warrior to be considered for Most Improved Player, but they’re probably not screaming to have one considered for Coach of the Year. Instead, 50% of respondents selected Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau as their top coach this season.

Hard to argue with that.
