The Golden State Warriors take on the defending champions, the Los Angeles Lakers, in the first round of the NBA Play-In Tournament. The winner of this game will be the No. 7 seed in the Western Conference and will advance to play the Phoenix Suns in the opening round of the NBA playoffs.

The Dubs will likely need another big game from the league’s leading scorer, Stephen Curry, if they want to pull off the upset. Curry averaged 32.0 points per game and has been carrying the load offensively all seasons.

L.A. is trying to find its footing after being without LeBron James and Anthony Davis for an extended period. Both players suited up for the final two games of the regular season.

The Warriors went 1-2 against the Lakers this season. Golden State beat L.A. on Jan. 18 but was then blown in the next two meetings.

It should be a good one!
