The Golden State Warriors head down to Southern California for their second consecutive matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. The game is scheduled to be played on Saturday at 1:00 PM PT in Los Angeles and can be watched on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Previously with the Warriors:
Golden State’s most recent game was a 120-114 victory over the Clippers on Thursday night. In the absence of key players such as Andrew Wiggins, Chris Paul, and Gary Payton II, the Warriors’ role players stepped up big time. Three of their four players who came off the bench scored in the double digits led by Jonathan Kuminga’s 17 points.
However, like every Warriors’ game, it all came down to the performances of their core three. On a special day like “11/30/23” where the organization honored Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, and Draymond Green, the legendary trio came up big as they filled the stat-sheet on the way to an impressive home victory.
What to watch for tonight:
Golden State hopes to repeat their success from Thursday’s game as they go on the road to face the Clippers once again. The Warriors did a nice job of playing faster in the first game, pushing the pace in transition to set up easy scoring opportunities.
The faster pace also helped the team establish a better rhythm. This was especially true of Thompson who had his second-best scoring game of the season with 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting from the field. He was hot down the stretch as 10 of his 22 points came in the fourth quarter.

To build on the momentum from last game, the Warriors need to take advantage of the energy provided by their young players like Brandin Podziemski, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody. Combining that with the experience and talent of the big three is the recipe for success that the Warriors will need to get their season back on track.
It should be a fun game. Enjoy the basketball Dub Nation. GO WARRIORS!!!
