Nash leaves Warriors to coach Nets

+

Nash will coach Durant and Irving. Seems like an attempt to capture that Steve Kerr-like magic. I like Nash, but good luck with that bunch...

The Day the Warriors Dynasty Started

+

TL;DR the day that Steph Curry signed his second contract. He might have been the most underpaid star ever...

Avidija may actually be worth taking at #2 ...

1

His efficiency stats (TS%; 3P%; FT%) are concerning, but he is young, he passes the eye test for skills / potential, and he has some Dray-like attitude in him ...

Warriors options surrounding the 2020 NBA draft

3 scenarios Warriors could take in the upcoming draft: - Keep the pick and draft BPA (Best Player Available) - Move down in the draft and pick up assets - Trade 1st round pick for difference maker

Giannis Antetokounmpo Rumor ... really hope this is real ...

+

Antetokounmpo … OK ... too much time Fantasy Dream Scenario ... Bucks lose 2020 NBA East Conference Finals to Celtics (?) ... Giannis quietly informs Bucks he will not sign long term with Bucks ... Bucks trade Antetokounmpo brothers (Giannis / Thannis) to GSW for Wiggins / Looney / Paschall / 2020 GSW 1st pick / 2021 GSW (Minn) 1st pick ... just a too much time on my hands dream ...

Did the Warriors find a gem in Marquese Chriss?

+

Athletic big man who can slam it down, rebound, pass and shoot some. After bouncing around the league, looks like Marquese came to the Warriors with a sense of purpose so what do you think?... looked better than he is because of the bad season or did the Warriors find a gem in Marquese Chriss? Personally, I think at the very least, he will give the Warriors what Javale McGee did when he was on the team... run the floor, block shots, alley oops. The potential to be more looks amazing though, he can guard Centers and quick enough to switch on forwards and sometimes guards, his passing was also a nice surprise this season, I imagine it will only get better with Steph & Klay on the floor next season. Depending on what the Dubs do in the draft and FA market, I can see Quese and Loon share time at the Center position next year.

Second round pick

1

So as we all know, the Warriors have a top-5 pick in this year's draft. But we forget that the dubs also own picks 51 & 52. Those picks (assuming the Warriors don't trade them away) are low-risk, high-reward. That's because they're very cheap and so if the player you selected fails to impress, it's not that big of a deal. If he does play well - you get an Eric Paschall, or maybe even a Draymond later on. Therefore, I'd like to suggest point guard Yam Madar with the 51st or 52nd pick. Again, low-risk, high-reward. Madar plays in the Israeli pro league and is already an impactful player on his team at just 19 years old. He's very crafty and smart (like most European players) and never afraid of the moment. His style of play is often compared to that of Steph or Kyrie. I think he can be a steal, especially getting to learn from Steph and eventually be a strong contributor. Madar was named to the FIBA U-20 tournament first team, in which Israel won the tournament, averaging 15.9 PPG, 7.7 APG, 19.6 EFF. He's also good friends with national team teammate and potential Warriors lottery pick, Deni Avdija. I attached a video of Yam Madar here, and I'd like to know what you guys think.

A bright star during this down season: Eric Paschall

+

In this ugly season, Eric Paschall was a bright star and his game was on full display... he was able to get valuable experience on the court which reminds me of Klay getting heavy minutes in his rookie year. Obviously, he needs to become more consistent but a 6th man role would fit him perfectly next season IMO. Let me now what you guys think
