The Santa Cruz Warriors announced today that Kent Bazemore and Malcolm Thomas have been recalled by the Golden State Warriors for tonight's game against the Detroit Pistons.
The Warriors' release has a bit more on each of their performances from last night's win.
Kent Bazemore, on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, logged a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards. Malcolm Thomas, also on assignment from Golden State, pulled down a game-high 15 rebounds.
Although Bazemore finished with a double-double, he wasn't exactly at his best: he fouled out in 33 minutes after shooting 1-for-7 from the 3-point line and committing six turnovers.
Still, the Golden State assignees helped Santa Cruz move within half a game of the league-leading Bakersfield Jam for first place in the league and a top seed in the D-League playoffs. Santa Cruz now heads out on the road for back-to-back road games starting with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday.
